2011-9-22 Lu Bo Visits National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre

Sep. 22, 2011, Mr. Lu Bo, Managing Director of World Future Foundation (WFF), met with Mr. Laurence Lien, CEO of National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) in Singapore.

Mr. Lu Bo briefly introduced the background, main programs and achievements of WFF in recent three years. Mr. Laurence Lien spoke highly to WFF’s work, and he talked about the main focus and development of NVPC. After that, they exchanged their opinions on how to promote the development of philanthropy in Singapore, as well as how to improve supervision mechanism toward charity organizations in both Singapore and China.

Mr. Laurence Lien also mentioned that NVPC will hold an Asian Philanthropic Forum in Singapore in 2012, and he sent kindly invitation to WFF to attend the forum.

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the national body, established in July 1999, to promote volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore. Mr. Laurence Lien is CEO of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre and Chairman of Lien Foundation, President of Centre for Non-Profit Leadership, Deputy Chairman of Lien Aid.
